"BLACK SHEEP OF THE FAMILY"

You can't always tell the depth of the well
by the handle on the pump,
You can't always gage the camels age
by the wrinkles on his hump.

And they call me the black sheep of the family
'cause I haven't settled down yet like I'm supposed to be

I've had alot of women come,
and I just let them go
Ask me why and I'll never know,
My daddy tries to understand, he says James K,
I know you're a good man,
you've had everything the others had
Why James K did you turn out bad
Well daddy I got thoughts inside of me
that most normal people just can't see
but then you have reality
and I'm still the black sheep of the family

But you can't always tell the depth of the well
by the handle on the pump

Wild and crazy I guess they say
and they try to understand from my yesterdays
but yesterdays have come and gone
and there's still that same damn song

You can't always tell the depth of the well
by the handle on the pump
You can't always gage the camels age
by the wrinkles on his hump.
